ive got a 2.8 turbo diesel and its running at about 12-13psi which i think is heaps high i would have throught 8psi would be right dose any know what there ment to be?

I think mine ran about 9psi when it was standard, but in the end i had about 14psi onboard, and it went much better. Just had to watch the temp. as i had the pump turned up a bit too. Not sure how much harder this is on the motor though.

As said before, a diesel and a petrol are opposite when it comes to mixtures and temp. A petrol will run hot on a lean mixture, and a diesel will run hot on a rich mixture. So if you want to run more boost, and adjust the pump to put in more fuel (so get more power), then watch the Temp closely. An intercooler would be a good idea too. The later model TD rockys came out with a small front mount cooler, but is was not that efficient i dont think, but still may be worth a look if you can get it cheap and it is easy to mount.
