Ute back and Trac-bar
Ute back and Trac-bar
Hi
I have a SWB soft top sierra that im building up. Just done spring-over, about to do RUF with chassis extension. Bolting up a Vitara EFI manifold and prob going to put on a 660cc supercharger. Im going to chop the back off it and turn it into a little ute. What sort of sheet metal material do you use to weld on where the back end used to be.
Also I need a Trac-bar (Anti-Wrap bar) what eva you call it. Any one got some pics. I think im going to use a big rod end from Black-woods.
Cheers
Jason

Win if you can, Loose if you must, but never give up !!!!
Thanks for the photos
Where did you get the rod end bearing from? Did you strengthen the chassis frame where you mounted the shackle?

well considering i don't have a back wall in my bac, don't have a roof, don't have wipers or washers mine's not such a good daily driver anyway.
Although Possumhunter put a tray on his Vit with the intention of using it as a daily driver and it worked quite well.
