steering damper.

Post by X-R-Cist »

I just got a 2nd hand steering damper for my 2.8 td gu patrol. the damn thing is pin to eye and the one on the car is pin to pin. is there any way to fit this thing on? are the any converters or anything like that to make it fit?

any ideas would help....no im not gonna sell it and buy one that fits, that would be the obvious thing and i wouldnt need to ask if i were going to do that.

if you fit an adapter that will make it longer and you will get less steering lock.

but i won't tell you to sell it and fit the correct one :D

cut the eye off and weld another pin on the damper
or
cut the pin off of your rig and convert it to an eye setup

and you thought I was going to tell U to sell it :finger:
