haveing a few troubles with 2.8 turbo diesel
rebuilt motor was starting to lose power was getting heaps of blow by pressurizing the sump after rebuild wasnt producing much power ran it in then went and had dyno was only pulling 40kw rw brought it home checked all timing crank,pump,cam was right all fine compresion all good
3200 all cylinders replaced pump thought might have had it still the same flushed all fuel lines checked pump timing fine adjusted pump to put more fuel in still not a lot of joy the only thing left to replace is the injectors checked return fuel line thought might be blocked ok seems to have lot of rockercover pressure but no pressure in sump and comp 3200 great checked turbo not using any oil, water.turbo boosting to 11psi no worrys any ideas getting sick of this

change your fuel filter, if you have done already and there is no other obvious symptoms, bodgy up a coke bottle for fuel supply at the filter as it sounds like fuel starvation to me. Look for a squashed fuel line maybe also but the coke bottle trick will tell you if your on the right track first.

thanks for the info ended up drainng fuel tank just incase replaced injector pump and had injectors done up then dyno,ed again going like it should now
