airock suspension

Post by simo toyo »

hey, i saw an article in 4wd monthly showing a jeep, with an airbag suspension conversion done. the control module allowed u to alter psi to each individual corner if the need arose, aswell as having other settings for ride height adjustments and self levelling, for cornering. it had a 10 litre air tank linked to it for other air operated tools as well as itself. the system looked a real winner. has any one seen or know of anyone who has attempted this conversion in a 40. or has the knowledge to attempt it????
fj 40, 82 model factory ps..... oohh yeh, 350 chev. lots more to do. getting there, getting there....

as everyone has said, it was wooders jeep that ran it, and most people here saw him compete at Tuff Truck. i think the system worked a treat, but they had a few other technical problems that slowed them down in competition. and also the fact that they were against the likes of Antunac and the mogrover would have been a bit intimidating. (well for me anyway :D )
indubitably
