doesnt drop the "crawl" down that much..... only just enough to be noticable.

Check the Bible out and have a look at the gerabox / transfer section under "Ratios"

Oh and 4.8's would be better than 4.6s but are hard to find.

If its a shorty its not possible, cause the driveshaft would be far too short ;)

But it can be done in a LWB if u give the proper thought into it, ive got it all sorted out, just dont have room any more in mine, so its a next time mod :D

duel transfers would double ur crawl though, all mounts and angles would be custom and your front shaft would run very low, id be wanting a spring over before even thinking about attemping it.....

screwy ;)

ratios

My mk 5spd turbo diesel with 4.6 ratios on 35's is way low in 1st gear low range.
My mate has a v8 hilux and 4.1 centres with crawler gears and 35's. Mine will crawl slower

The V8s have the advantage of being able to hold lower revs at idle than the 6 cylender motors without stalling easily.

mine crawls confortably enough to not warrant crawlers even with the 38s ;)
