Swivel Hubs
Hi guys, trying to think how to ask this question. I recently replaced my c.v/axle in the front of my hj60. when looking at the swivel hub from front on or from the front of the car it slopes in towards the backing plate of the discs. kinda like this slash \. is this normal? thanks guys jt

Yer its normal...the swivel hub is not square if you not what i mean...i.e. if you take it off and lay it on a flat surface the top face will slope away towards one edge. Can't remember off the top of my head and without going and looking but i think the top slopes in towards the middle of the car.
However...if it wasn't right you would surely notice it when you are driving.

Yer dunno about that one...like i said you would defiately notice if something was wrong...it is located by 2 pins and roller bearings top and bottom. The only way it can come loose and change is if somethings loose and the pins come out...but the whole hub and wheel arrangement would be very likely to fall off if this happened, hence the fact you would know about it.
