leaking airlocker

Post by grub_80 »

G'day all,

The rear locker in my 80 series is pumping oil through the solenoid when i turn lockers off, this stops my pressure switch from working. So i need to fix this. There must be a seal in there, is this easy to change. Does any one know of a way to stop this happening again or is it just something i have to put up with and fix every year.

Thanks Dave

do a search for air+locker+oil+leak, you'll get most of the info you're after.

the oil leaking will not cause the poressure switch to fail, but the older pressure switches are notoriously unreliable.
