were can I get rancho specs

Post by Glennb »

I was just looking up the rancho web site and they dont have any specs on there shocks(and nothing on Pajys).
Looking at getting RS 9000
So were can I find these specs??
Im looking for 50 to 60 mm of extra stretch to put on my 43mm spring lift but hope to put in some coil spring retainers in to keep the spring held in.
Will this work and would I have to do any other work(ie lengthen brake lines)
Cheers

Cheers,
re read some old threads and seems that the rs99138 seems to be the rear shocker to get which will give me 7.25" of travel( 33mm extra reach)
Is this without having to do any mods as well? except extending the upper bump stop(what the best way to fix this?) and the bottom of the shocker has to be bushed out??? what this mean

Cheers

You can extend the upper bumpstops (x2) by spacing them down with metal packers. They are bolted to the chassis so it is easily done but I doubt you will need to do it with only 1" extra travel.
Re-bushing means that you have to get the right internal bush hole diameter for the factory mounting bolts to fit through. The supplier will be able to supply the shocks with the bushings you specify so they are a perfect bolt on fit.
