Post by CHOPS1 »

Does anyones suzy use oil? Mine is, not alot but it does use a little.
Its not burning it, no smoke from rings or valve guides. And no leaks. Strange?

depends how much oil its using i spose? my 1.3L had no leaks and burnt nothing, but every 5000k's it'd take 2L of oil... just "one of those things".

the 1.6 i have now (have had for near 2.5yrs) barely uses any oil at all... maybe 1L per 10,000kms

Mine used litres of oil when it was around 300000Kms, but after i got it rebuilt it now uses no oil, it may just be a bit wore out.

Mine used to, so I drained all oil from my car, engine, diffs, gearbox and transfer even the steering box and mufler bearings!
I now have no problem with water in my oil, the engine no longer blows blue smoke, I save money on oil filters as I no longer need to change them and I am caring for the environment by not having to deal with waste oil

Well if you rebuild it you know it's good.. (well that's relative to who does it)

Besides if you rebuild it you can bore it out to vitara pistons(1370cc  ) or don't and put in higher compresion gti pistons
slap in bigger valves and a sports cam
