ecxessisve backlash

Post by 81 rangie »

I have a 4 spd manual rangie, I have already replaced the rear diff, and now I will have to get some sort of shimes in the transfer case replaced to stop her from sometimes poppoing out of low range. The front has lots of backlash. Is this normal, and is it very damaging to the rest of the drivetrain ,when 4wdriving. Does anyone else have this problem, is it a range rover problem
