wrap bar

i just want to know,

has anyone ever run a wrap bar on a hilux, with the standard fuel tank postion.

cause i think it's goin to hit my fuel tank,

it's on a 91 hilux dual cab.

I could be wrong here, but doesn't the tank in the lux's run down one side of the chassis rail. Has been a while since I was under one. Maybe try mounting the wrap bar in a diff location/other side???? As I said... I could be totally wrong!!!!

I had to remove my long ranger in my 60 to get mine put in. It's mounted on the passenger side of the drive shaft.
When in doubt..... UTE-ERIZE it!!!

My wrap bar/track bar runs on the other side of the diff from the fuel tank. It works fine.

Its a superior one.

Not for Lux but have a look at the slip and twist trac bar near the bottom...all the cool people have them :cool: :D

hey dude u got any photo's of it on ya truck.

i've started makin it now, i want to mount it on the centre of the pumpkin,

i'll show ya's the progress pics soon.

it should be diff to all other trac bars, as in not one restriction to flex. (i hope)

Just reply to the thread and post em up, its good to keep it all in one place, when/if you a do a thread on trac bars ill put a link to it in the IFS rears thread too as its all related, ill add my own build up for the trac bar as well when i get around to it.
