That'll be happening....I'm going to start all over again with the suspension, while all my setup works great, it is but ugly to look at. So am going to start most of it again from scratch.

I'll extend the rear out like Mud4B, or maybe a little longer and push the front forward as much as possible too.

I ordered new 35" Radial Claws yesterday.....which I pick up today, but I wont have rims for a couple more weeks....

I've also got a coily / toy diff with 6" susp lift. Does anyone have picks of how they mounted the panhard rod. I snapped my mount last night in all this rain.

I'm getting the lower arms lengthened this week....am just going to setup the castor by eye....just seeing if you guys reckon this looks about right.

This was before....you can see how bad the diff is rotated but the angle of the pinion.

And this is where I was thinking of bringing it back too....keep in mind this is just a temp setup to get it drivable...a better job of all the suspension will be getting done down the track.

Bit of an update for the probs with the steering on my zook. Lengthening the bottom arms to give it the correct castor made a huge difference. It drives quite well now, but still has some slop in the steering from the way the draglink attached to the tie rod, where the steering dampner usally does on a hilux.

I bought a Superior Engineering Crossover Steering Double arm, and installed it last night, but it looks as though it makes the draglink sit too high, and that it might hit the chasis on up-travel (bout 75mm clearance). I haven't been able to test it myself on the zook yet, as it seems the tapers are wrong on my balljoints, so need to sort that out first.

I had a look at pics of Mud4B and RBZook setups, which both draglinks seem about the same height as what mine is now, so am wondering if yours hit the chassis at all? or any other info people might have??

Heres a phew pics of it all.

thast the set up i run on my coily

i reckon you need to get that panhard mount higher on the diff for more stability and will steer heaps try to have it as close to parrallel to drag link as possiable and will be a pleasure to drive on rd

Yeah the panhard is next on the list for the front end!! The angle and length (its pulled ateleast 1" to one side ATM) will be fixed.

How close does your draglink come to the chassis on full compression of the passenger side RB Zook?

mine hit once on the chassis... not sure how..

ive now been wheeling it harder and it has not hit since...

now yours having 35s you will have to limit the up travel (so it wont matter anymore) or if you cut the guards to clear the tyres it will still be a prob..

your zook does have more uptravel than mine...

cool....thanks Mark......I was talking to superior engineering this arve, and he said to send it back and they'll remake one with a little less height. So I think I will do that, rather then mucking around trying to get this higher one too work.

my flipped arm is a pritty low one thats how i made it and also the taper is changed and the tie rod end is now below the top arm

the drag link limits the front travel by about 1 inch in shock length

thought about makin a new are to be lower and that will make it more parrallel to panhard and shortening it to regain lock to lock from suzi to toyo steer.
