Anyone's help on how to get the centre apart would be appreciated. Fan is out of car and fan is seperated from centre but can't get center apart to add oil. (going away in the morning)

are you sure its a two peice type, if it is it should 4 bolts to undo and split in two

Yes it is the two piece type i have undone all the bolts but it i can only twist the two parts cant get them apart. do you have to remove the front spring?

Lever apart (if genuine)
Do you have more silicon oil? Has it been leaking?

Yes i do have oil. If i lever it should come apart so the spring doesnt have to come off?

spring stays in place, just lever it apart gently.
