Which Vitara for Hilux Axle Swap?

Post by matt g »

Hi All,

I'm back to contemplating buying a 4 door Vitara and having Overkill do a hilux axle swap on it, and was just wondering weather I'd be better off going for the 4 cylinder or the V6. It's going to have to be a daily city commute vehicle, so I'll probably be looking at an auto model.

The list of requirements basically come down to compact(ish) with internal space to fit 7' fishing rods, light on fuel, easy to drive in morning peak-hour traffic, tall enough to see clearly over sedans, comfy newish interior. Sortof puts a hilux/Vitara combo right in the sweet spot.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers
Matt

If you are doing SAS anyway. I'd go for the v6 for the power. Mayb look at the GV's as they will have lower ks and newer interior.

cheers
