how to fix side rails? please!

Post by Nisspatrol »

hey fellas,
I wanna weld up some strong side rails for the GQ Wagon, has anyone got some ideas of where to attach them to the chassis without drilling new holes or welding to the chassis, pics would be awesome.
cheers

The 50mm body lift makes it easy.....the "U" profile mounts are the go, that's what I did with mine. I made them 200mm long, from 5mm plate and used two outriggers from the mount to the bar work from each mount. I used 2x M12 bolts with nyloc's on each mount.

I made mine from 50x50x4mm square blue steel...they WON'T bend!!!
