LWB Zook, anyone selling one?

Post by GURU »

G'day,

I'm interested in buying a LWB zook if I can find one for the right price. Is there anything I should look for when buying a zook? I'm pretty new to zook's but know 4wd's.

any one know of any for sale?

thanks

LWB are hard top come by....Im kinda thinking i was lucky to get mine...They also tend to hold decent value, considering they stopped producing them in 1987 (i think)

G'day

Suzidisco I live in Sydney, and i'm wanting to come up and have a look at your zook.

I have posted a reply in the "for sale" and also sent you a PM.

Have a look in the trading post online site. there's a nice looking one up here in brissy - softtop with fibreglass hardtop, bullbar - very nice and otherwise pretty stock looking.

The car yard wanted $5900 and they knocked it down to $3900. For the ridiculous prices they (LWB's) go for, it's worth a $100 flight up if you're sure it's what you want.

One of the guys I go out with has one with 32" simex copies on it and it goes everywhere I get to in my Vitara - and sometimes spots I can't. I think he paid somethign like $7500 for it with the 32's on it (new brakes and a few other new bits on it too) a little while ago.

I know 32"s aren't cheap but they ain't worth $3500.........

Sometime the LWB helps you outoff road, and sometimes it makes it harder for you.

But at least you've always got more storage space....

You'll only buy a chunk-a-sh!t LWB for $3000. too many zook boys who have grown up a little bit (but maybe not enough) want them.
