I curently run 35x12.5x15 BFG Muds on my shorty, but i have been thinking about changing them for a set of 35x13.5x15 Maxxis Mudzilla's ..
Any pro's and cons would be apreciated ! And yes i have searched but i couldnt find a direct conparison? betwen these tyres ...
The genaral offroad terrain here in denmark is mud, sand and a little forrest ...

here in australia i am sponsored by maxxis. they are great i love em. i run creepy 37x14.5x15. off road. on road i run 33x12.5x16 mudzilla. they ok for road tread doesnt last long. compared to bfgs. they are a nice soft compound. great traction. great in the mud to.
i have a question fort you i want some maxxis trepadors 37x12.5x15 or close. i cant get them here in ausy. do you have them there. if so i might get them off you and sent them here.
One of the reasons i am looking into Maxxis tires is that i want something diffrent than all the others (BFG´s and MTR´s) And i think Mudzillas would be better in the wet, my BFG´s totally suck when the roads are wet!
As far as i know nobody up here can get the Trepador tires, we only get Mudzilla and Creepy´s, and very few people run them ...
If you are sponsored by Maxxix why cant you get them ? I would think it was easier for someone who is sponsored ...

The mudzillas will not be any better in the wet onroad.
They will wear atleast 50% faster onroad than a BFG.
They will provide better traction offroad than a BFG.
IMHO go the creepys if your thinkin of using them onroad cause as has already been said, I have also run mine on the road (to and from ormeau) and so far they seem really good (as opposed to the mudzilla).
Another tyre to consider would be the Mickey Tompson Radial Claw, these handle onroad well and dont wear much faster than a BFG and IMHO are a better tyre all round.
I originally looked at the claw's, but i can get Mudzilla's at just around half the price A set of Mudzilla´s will cost just around 1000 AUD ... Claw's will be about 1700-1800 AUD

in thatcase see wat price you can get on the Maxxis Creepy and opt for them
I have a set of 33X13.5X16 Mudzillers and they wear fast on the bitumen. 5000k's and i am left with 80% thread. I am currently running BFG M/T for daily driving.
HAd a set of 33 mudzilla's on my old ute and got about 25000 k's out of them, there still legal but not much good for offroad now. drove that thing like a race car through corners though, not real good for any tire i guess
Generally it sounds like a good tire but with all the highway driving i do i would go thru a set a year ... that's just not good enough ...
Are Mickey T´s Claw any better ?

its all a compromise dude.
You will never get perfect klms from a perfect offroad tire... you either get grip or kms.. thats why most run 2 sets of rims and tires.
