Hi Punk
I have recently asked the same question in other forums.
didnt really get much help, but a guy on IH8mud was gunna post up some pics of what he did-havent seem them yet.
But I figured out something myself, probably not the best idea but its the only idea i had.
All I did was remove the fuel filter and welded a steel plate to the filter mount to sit the pump on.I wasnt planning on having a heater in my truck so I just scrapped the plumbing from the water pump housing(long hex bolt thing). All I have to do now is mount an adjuster bracket and add another pulley to the water pump(dont know if its good to drive the p/s pump off the water pump but it will have to do for now.It will have good belt wrap though.
I will post a pic of what I have done so far(easier to explain with pics) it might give you some better ideas which you can pass on to me.
Will be along time before I can test my setup out as I have the body off for panel beating and theres lots of expensive stuff I want.
I will take a pic tomorrow

Cheers

now this one looks quite in depth and is probly the best one to do. pretty simple, very effective.
i'll be starting mine soon ( the same conversion just on a B motor)

should answer all ya question's if not ask them here.

ohh and a 2H will be the same as H, the harmonice balance is the only external differance (i think, correct me if i'm wrong)

i'm not so sure on that, the H and 2H are very different i've been told, and the 2H's came with power steering in some instances so that their is provision for that

Thats where I wanted to mount my pump but unless I drilled into the block or done a real maori job was unable to.
Someone must have done this conversion in an H?
