info on 80 series diff housings

need to know if all 80 series housings are the same, tracking down a new one for my old man and wonderin what goes with the brakes ect.. some had smaller and some had bigger, some drums some discs right??

are all the centres interchangeable? can u just swap the bigger brakes onto a housing that had smaller ones??

little bit of background on what year models had what ect ect would be good, cheers!

Yes they are all interchangable, the ones with ABS need a ABS housing but all the others the same the one difference ive came across are the brake line brackets that that bolt to the lower shock mount have some variations and the position that the securing bolt for this bracket is in different spot on the bracket yet nothing a drilled hole and a nut won't fix.
