NEED HELP !!!!!!!
what wires should i put a fake alarm led light into in a 90 lwb GQ so that
it flashes when the ignition is off but shuts off when the car is running
it has 2 wires red and yellow which is which ?

The best way to wire the LED up is red wire to permanent +12v then you wire the black or negative to an accessories or ignition circuit. I've done this on 2 cars no problems after 7 years.
What then happens is when the accessories/ignition is on there is 12v on each side of the LED so it doesn't light up. But when you turn off the accessory circuit there is +12v difference, so what happens is the electricity will look for a way to get to the negative of the battery, usually in the positive wire of the car stereo or the dashboard instruments and out the negative wire. The power/current flowing through the LED & stereo is only a trickle so it's not going to power on the stereo. The only time I've seen this not work is when a mate had an old on/off volume knob stereo which left no path if he turned the stereo off, stereo was left turned on at the knob it worked fine.
