3F woes

ok i'm having some problems with the 3F.
it will rev to 3000rpm not a worry but anything over 3000 and it misses and won't go any higher, i know it's electrical but i still carn't find it!
so i'm open for ideas on what it could be?
1uzed and no home for it

Sounds almost like an ignition lead problem, try a new set of them

are they elec ignition or a dizzy with points if its the second one replace the points

points or condensor, although a blocked fuel filter can cause this and it will seem very much like an electrical problem.

i'm replacing the points and condensor tomorrow, and we will see then.
don't think it's fuel as there is still plenty of fuel in the bowl when it does it.
maybe it's time to bring the efi conversion plan to life.
