G13B 1300 Timing
Only guessed my timing,
1. what should it be
2. is it set at idle, static or?
3.does advancing mean spark happens earlier, like before reaches TDC or does it mean later(terminology can vary)
4. I set the timing mark on fly wheel and harmonic balance to about 6 before TDC, then set the dizzy so rotor pointed at No 1 ...does this sound correct?

borrowed a mates timing light, iz now at 10*BTDC and runs great, was between 7-8, not a bad guess. I think I could go more, but will leave it as is, till I've driven it a bit more.....most of my power loss was oil way too thick, and oil filter was damaged inside, and carb had no vaccuum on 2nd throat......thanks all, christover...
