13BT engine....anygood? Whats the specs?

Contemplating replacing my LC 2L engine with a 13BT engine. Can some kind dudy answer following and add some more:

1. I Sthis engine any good?
2. Whats the specs for it?
3. Whats the weight?
4. What years were they manufactured?
5. Is it a good option to put into my LC?

do a search on a 14bt or 15bft motor they blow a 13bt away

search. not hat impressive really, but can be boosted up/intercooled for better performance- very strong motor.
3. Whats the weight?
heavy. would have 100kg on your 2L-T
4. What years were they manufactured?
early 80's to at least mid 90's, last they were available locally was 1989.
5. Is it a good option to put into my LC?
if you're talking LJ70, you will need to change the gearbox too, there is no economically viable way to bolt it to a R151F. it is also heavy enough that you will need to uprate your front springs. it could be argued that the light duty axles are also not up to the torque available from these motors. it is by no means a cheap swap - it would be cheaper in the long run to pick up a BJ73 turbo or BJ74, and do a coil conversion with 80 series axles.

edit: if I remember correctly you actually have 2L/G52F? makes little difference to what I have written above.
