Damnit feroza pissin out oil, degreased twice and found where the problem lies, not sure as to wether it is the front oil seal or just the sump gasket (bolts may be overtightened)... Hopefully it is one or the other and can be easially fixed...
If it is the sump gasket, is there much work to pull that off?
And same goes for the front oil seal (bloke over the phone was sure it was that)
Let me know if you have any experience with these

Yes i did do a search (before anyone brings that up) found the bad news on the sump gasket, not too keen on pullin the whole engine out, is this a big job? never done such a thing before, seems scary all these cables and lines running everywhere...
Do you have to pull the engine all the way out or can you possibly just lift it enough to pull the sump off...
Anyways check out the pic im pretty sure thats what the problem is as there is no oil coming out of the small hole where you can see the timing belt (i think thats what i can see), i suspect the oil seal is behind the cover there and if that was the problem it would be leaking out of that hole...
I may try loosening the sump around the front end there, clean it well with a cotton wool bud, and try to use a syringe to inject a gasket goo in there...

Yeap like i said first thing im tryin is to loosen the bolts enough to get some gasket seal in there, should be a temp fix for a month or two till i get holidays, then ill pull the engine out and replace the gasket and a few other things while its out
Degrease the hell outta it then get underneath (make sure you got stands or ramps), run the engine till hot and wait for it... bitta patience required but worth doin

I ended up taking the engine out on mine cause i had a few other things to do as well as the sump. But you could drop the front diff off if you feel it would be easier that way.

Looks like it took you near to 3 weeks :/ I really cant afford to spend that much time on it... Ill start hunting for someone to help me out with this one i think... Dads got some good contacts in the fire brigade there.

it did take three months but that was doing all the work myself and only on the weekends. i'm sure it could be done over a few days.

Yeah, if i didnt need to do so many other things I would have replaced the sump by removing the diff.
If i could have seen the future i would have done the sump when I broke my first front diff.......

Everyone whos looked at it recons we can maybe get around the diff, and just having a look at it, perhaps by removing the left hand driveshaft, and the crossmember supporting the diff, it may be able to be done... Ill have another look and get some pics in the light... The shape of the sump looks like it is meant to come out that way...

Ok bit of research...
After lookin at it, the aim is to pull out the left driveshaft
Now what im hoping is that the chunky bit in the photo with the arrow will come out of the diff, the shape of the sump must allow for it to be done this way...
*edit* "Yes it does come out should have tried turning it first"
Can anyone let me know if this is the correct procedure for removal of the driveshaft from the diff...
1. Take off the wheel
2. Remove Stabiliser Bar
3. Remove Torsion Spring
4. Remove Front Hub
5. Remove steering knuckle
6. Remove driveshaft from diff
Anyway that is the plan of attack this weekend, never done anything so big but looking at it, a step at a time, im sure it can be done...
Let me know if you have any ideas yourselfs all help is much appreciated!!

rob, word of advice, be VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY careful with the bolts hiding up behind the flywheel and crankshaft. they are a real pain to get to with everything on. i ended up breaking the threads on the back 2 bolts (maybe 3) when i tried screwing them back on with the flywheel on. but so far no leakage in that area so i'm pretty lucky at the moment. but dont make the same mistake i did... try to put it on by hand first if you can, its a hell of a tight squeeze but you should be able to find someone with small enough hands to do it. and DONT force it! good luck. keep us posted
