How do i reset the light on the dash for the 80 series. for the timing belt

On mums 91 TDi GXL, you see a rubber plug/gromet what eva ya wanna call it on the clear cover thing over the Instruments, pull the rubber plug out and u will see under 0KM/h a little thing sticking out grab a pen or sumthing, with the ignition turned on, press it, and wella, should be off.

Sorry not real good at explaining things, hope this helps.

mines the same but i have a hj75 ute what he said pull the grommet out and use a small thin object to push the button, but once u do it be carefull mine is a $@%# sometimes and comes on for no reason but at least you know what to do. Enjoy
