Unfortunately due to the strike in the States recently, production on the 305/70R16 (33x12.50R16) and 315/75R16 (35x13.00R16) has been pushed back quite a ways in order to get the full flow on the sizes that have been released already. Guess-timation on time is early next year.

rick, i was in tyrepower today and apparently bfg don't do a 255/85-r16 anymore. so does any one know of a tall, narrow(up to 265) 16 inch radial. also i guy on the job site next to mine had some simex centerpede mt radials in 31/10.5r15 looked pretty good and were only $130.rick130 wrote:doesn't appear to be any 255/85/16 size in the new STT either, so I'm sorta limited to the BFG MT or Cooper ST's in that size in the future......

However a 285/75 can fit on pretty easily. I run 285/75 MTR's on my 110 on disco steel rims with 30mm extra offset. Very happy with them - about the same diameter as a 255/85, just 1" wider.

Looks like a call to the bloke I bought mine off is in order, he's about the biggest retailer of BFG in NSW, although I'm still a few months away from needing/affording another set.
Ben , 285's would be fine, but I'd have to get the rims widened. (though extra offset would be nice, ifthe bloody narrow hubs can cope)

As to the balance issue, yep, been there. Just keep taking them back, it is a dynamic balance issue. I have a good tyre bloke who persevered and we got it in the finish. We also swapped the tyres side to side (changed on the rims) to beat the alternate scalloping of the lugs you described in the other post.

I run mine on 7" rims.
