i got it done and back on its wheels but it is cold and dark out side

i put the center in and then tacked the middle plate (if u get your head down on the side u can see through it) i left about 6mm gap (i wanted a bit more oil to fit in the rear diff since it is my daily driver)beanz2 wrote:Looking good. i only went about 3mm in the front diff cos it is only used offroad

Just a tip peoples.....
After a couple of years using your bottom two bolts as drain plugs, you'll find that you'll begin to strip the thread from the housing and the diff will constantly weep. I ended up putting in some helicoils to restore the threads and they're much better now. Next diff I do, I'll throw the helicoils in from the start.
