You already have a 13BT?

If so it will cost you $0 to tweak it for a lot better performance - just need to turn some screws. Just make sure you fit an EGT to make sure you are not overfuelling it.

to get 400+ Nm from a 13B-T you'd need to boost up to around 15psi, and possibly LPG fumigation - so in theory it could be done fairly cheaply - turbo from a wreckers for $400 and an afternoon of fiddling around to get it mounted and working. Might need LPG fumigation to get it over the 450Nm line.

with the stocker turbo and a bit of tuning, 350Nm should be possible.

why do you "need" these numbers? could a well thought out drivetrain make up for the lack of dyno braggin?

good call. a stocker 13B-T in a middy will happily turn 35's at 110km/h on the highway all day long, and with some help from gearing (4.56's, transfer gears) would be happy pulling 38's.

You are crazy if you do any serious power mods without intercooling. The intercooler will help keep your EGT's lower - making your engine last longer.

If you want to mod it, the order should be:

Intercooler
Turbo (if you want to change it)
Boost and Fuel
LPG

And before you do any of that, fit an EGT guage so you don't kill the engine, and make sure the timing, pump and injectors are all 100%.

so why not throw some lower diff ratio's in and call it good?

why would i intercool i thought the lpg cools the boosted air because its so cold and the fuelpump and turbo are not getting changed plus i not going to tune it myself i going to a shop for that
