Engineering a bodylift on a vechile with airbags in NSW

Does anyone know a engineer in Sydney/NSW that will engineer a body lift with airbags on the Suzuki Jimny,im having some problems atm.Its a 3 inch Snake racing kit with alloy blocks.Ive been told it can be engineered cause the sensors are in the dash,but looks like now im having some big problems any info would be great.

from what ive been told the bigger drama is a two inch lift is the max you can go in NSW

I could be wrong but I did not think you could engineer any body lift on a vehicle with airbags.

I Think.. the only way to do it is to cut off / replace the body mounts in a different position on the chassis.

Call the RTA technical help line as a first step

i heard that as well.

no body lift with airbags. and also.. insurance may be voided as well if you do a bodylift on a vehilcle that came with airbags.

One guy i remember reading in here removed his airbag fuse and acknowledged to his insurance company of his decision... (its bits and pieces in my memory and it doesn tmake sense to me either.... :? )

yes, there is a dude on here with a GU and bodylift, he removed the air bag fuse, so they dont function, had to get it engineered, and inform the insurance company, the only way to do it i believe, is the same vehicle, in lower spec model, prob didnt have airbags, so the saftey features are the same,

i think it was GUJohno if im correct? and he is in VIC,
