Just wondering for the Brother Inlaw, where the best place and price for getting these are near the Baronia area please.

Thanks in advance.

Any LPG installation place will usualy get a guy in to do their testing. Best and cheapest option though is to run the tank empty as possible as they charge extra to scavange the tank and remove it yourself as you will also be charged labour of course.

There's quite a few testers around so ring around before you get it done.

Going prices atm.......

Steel tank/
new valves fited and test dated for 10 years = $ 150

Stainless tank /
new valves fited and test dated for 10 years = $ 230

Some testers want the tank empty, others will decant the tank, but a couple I know will decant the tank then test it and refill it with your LPG.

Some rigs have the tanks under neath the body..... most testers will want the tank taken out before they even touch it......

My guy does em in the car, decants your LPG, tests em, fits new valves n gauge, and refills em with you LPG and all for $150 a tank ( steel )..... but he wont get underneath a rig / ute etc so those tanks have to come out.

as I said .... check around for a fair price. ;)
