I'm looking for some feed back on Maxxis Mudder Buckshot tyres if anyone has them or had them in the past . What are your opinions on them?

Ok they works very well and i have used many other tyres and am totally suprised at how well they actuall do work on rock BUT the side walls are weaker then a grannys bladder and the dont seem to hold on side angles aswell as my BFGs or Creepys did
IMHO they worked better than the bfg (much better) and even better than my 37" creepys
id get a set if they came out in 38s with abit stronger sidewall

Happy,
I think you will find that the Maxxis Mudder Buckshot is virtually the same tyre as the Mudstar and some places sell one cheper than the other.
I have a set of Mudstars and my mate has a set of Buckshots and neither of us have any complaints, although as mentioned the sidewalls aren't the best but hey i would rather wreck a sub $200 tyre than a $400 tyre...

Have run the buckshots in 35's on a hundred series , will never buy them again . there all over the road due to soft side walls . Ran BFG in the same size ad car drove straight . Ware was to quick , and not the best in mud
hope this helps
when i say soft in side walls , i mean yo ucan keep the car straight at 100 kms

have a set of 33's maxxis buckshots on a rangie... work very well no complaints at all. Have very good road manners as well as being quiet an have worn evenly. Work surprisingly well off road. Do most of my driving in toolangi, in the mud, an run quite well at 15psi
Have them up for sale if anyone is interested...pm me if ya keen
need to start selling my fun!!!! Need the $$$ for a house deposit!!!

are you sure they were buckshots in 35s cause ive asked every tyre ive been to and emailed maxxis themselves and they all say they dont make them in that size yet maxxis themselves emailed me and said that they had not made a mould for a 35 buckshot but possibly would in the future if demand was thereEric wrote:Have run the buckshots in 35's on a hundred series , will never buy them again . there all over the road due to soft side walls . i run a set of 315x75x16 on my shorty, and for their price I think they are great, but they are only a mud tyre. Can have two sets of these for the price of one set of Claws or ET's
