Someone may be able to help me here,

I have EFS rear springs in the front of my 86 Hilux with extended (sanke) shackles and dropped front hanger.

Any idea as to which degree of castor wedges i need? 5degree?

how far dropped are your hangers and how much extended are your shackles?

The dropped hangers are the standard Snake ones as are the shackles. Which from memory are 2" each???

Can anyone help, this, one extra gear shifter and two front body mounts and its drivable :armsup:

take you car to a wheel joint and have the caster checked than you will see how far out you are and if you need them which ones will suit
HZJ73, lifted,crawler gears, double locked, sitting on 35's

i would be be getting the caster checked and if it's out it would be good to adjust the front pinion angle now

cut the spring plates off and roll the diff if it is out.

Unless it's way out i really didn't want to go to all the hassle of cutting pearches off. Hopefully castor wedges will do the trick.

Was only asking as it seems a few others around here have a similar set up to mine. It shouldn't be too far out being that i've dropped front and rear spring supports equal lengths.

I have 5deg in mine with longer shackles and dropped front hangers, both 2".

When i did the hubs up not long ago its easy to see that the steering axis is vertical. I need to take them out because my hilux tracks like a heroin junkie.

Any ideas as to what the castor is supposed to be on a solid axle hilux?
