Ferozas ARE reliable!

Ferozas ARE reliable!
Here's the proof...
Ferozas are reliable!
We recently went on a road trip to Sydney (from Toowoomba) in our Feroza with a car trailer attached.
The Feroza did remarkably well, especially with the towing. The trailer had a 85 Suzuki Sierra on it with a couple of tires.
We had the heater going the whole time to prevent the engine from overheating, and had the windows halfway down, mainly to keep Andy awake!
We arrived hom about an hour ago with a total of 1,900k's done over the weekend. No problems at all!

almost as contradictory as feroza and reliableshezzbeav wrote: We had the heater going the whole time to prevent the engine from overheating,

Spit my last breath
The Feroza did well when it towed the zook being on the car trailer for 3 days straight. No stress on the towbar at all... you just have to know what you're doing... when going up a hill with a heavy load attached, best to go into 2nd or 3rd gear...
if you lose power whilst in 3rd gear, go into 2nd gear...
When we went on the range back to Toowoomba, we had to put the car into first gear. Scary. The temperature only went to halfway, so we're pleased.

maximum legal capacity is GVM/2....
So if your Feroza weighs 1000 KG, the max you can tow is 500 'mounted'. You see with the small tow guys they only mount two of the wheels and let the car roll on the other two, that means they can tow twice as much ore more if they leave the front down.....
Safety? They could do it, you just need lots of braking room, make sure you give it to yourself!
