Grand Cherokee light upgrade

Post by Ceej »

Hi all

Im trying to upgrade the lights in my fathers 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. As if they do not make it hard enough to get to the bulbs, when I got them out they were HB4A (normal light) and HB3A (high beam). I cant find these bulbs listed anywhere, let alone as a performance bulb.

Any suggestions? Apparently the lighting is really poor so he wants an upgrade without going to a nudge bar and external driving lights.

Cheers

The bulbs I use came from a mate who went over to the USA recently and who brought them back for me. They are:

Main beam: Sylvania 9006XS ST/2 "Silverstar" blue

High beam: Sylvania 9005XS CB :Cool Blue"

Straight plug-in replacements. Very noice! Do a google search and there are prolly heaps of companies that will ship cheaply.

They are much brighter than the stock originals, but chew no more power.

What do you mean the bulbs are hard to get at? Couldn't be easier! One bolt!

Go to www.wjjeeps.com and have a look there. There are lots of tips and tricks for WJ owners.

Check eBay - this guy ships worldwide:
