My mates re-doing his rear links and wants to keep the tank in stock position.My thoughts on this idea would be that it is to short and get way to much rear steer and would be horrible to drive as a daily driver.

yes i believe the links would be too short
ive got long travel shocks in my 2nd gen surf and it gets bad rear steer

i didnt see any pics of the lower links?

are they just stock postion?

if so it will have exact same amount of rear steer or pretty close

It looks like something ORI did to a 4runner although they mounted the upper swivel over the back of the pumpkin allowing longer upper arms to be used. And you'd definately need to lengthen the lowers.
Whats wrong with my setup? Not good enough for ya. :finger:

his lower links are 1inch longer than stock but still appear to use the stock position

just trying to be differant,looking at tanks today to replace the origanal one for a better 5 link

If your gonna move the tank then you may aswell do a normal triangulated 3 link
