Pull the sway bar out won't give you any extra wheel travel but they will travel independent of each other. 1 wheel will hit the top bumpstop and the other will sit on the bottom one, something it won't do now with it in
Mate, All thoguh my 4x4 is used for hunting more than serious 4wding, IFS really lacks compared to the solid axle in regards to strength and amount of flex you can get
About the only things you can do are cut the bumpstops in half and disconnect the sway bar

Same way i am going with my 4runner, got my axle yesterday sitting alongside my springs, just need some mounts, waiting to renew rego next week and hopefully start cutting. But most probably not, the missus will be on my case to do all the other odd jobs around the house first
