Make sure the bolts that are supplied with the kit are high tensile. If you plan on getting it approved they have to high tensile and I wouldnt trust the mod using standard bolts, to easily sheared.
hi guys, now that the subject on lift blocks are being discussed. what material for lift blocks is best to use ( Aluminum, Polyeurathaine, rubber, metal)? I'm planning of ordering a set.
Im doing mine atm, just wanting to know how everyone actually lifted the shell off the chassis. Im think 4 car scissor jacks with grooves for the sills...

Dude, read the responses - this has all been covered! Are all the bolts the same length? Pull one of your current bolts out (very quick and easy, and you'll have to do it anyway) and compare it to the new one. For a 2" lift they should be 2" longer, and for a 3"... I'll let you figure that one out.

I think I've been given 3" block bolts instead of 2"
What do u think?
the new blocks sit ontop of ur old mounts ... by the looks of it ur old mounts are fucked ... so u better get new ones of them as well while ur at it .... the bolt is the correct length
if u read the bible u'd know
