Hmmm I know this is wrong to say, but how cool are the old school jeep bodies. It anyone here reads JP then you might have seen how cool these rigs look with a decent set of meats on them. Now I know this has be discussed before but it would be cool to throw the jeep tub on a zuk chassis… But then again at $3000NZ just for the tub, I’m not so sure.

then again the LJ80 is just as cool though

Steve has alot of the moulds for the suzuki parts because they are popular here in the national trials series. The finished product is generally top notch. I've seen a few things he has thrown out, which I would have sold if it was me.

You got any pictures of the finished produced on a chassis?

Would be good to see some of the rigs from the national trails series.

Cheers

Pity about the $$ for the whole tub.

Would be excellent for the COG with a full fibreglass body and no rust worries.

Any idea on weight of body shell.

cheers

not really... it is nz moola..... but try to think how much a gen metal body would be from suzuki...

i would say it would be just as heavy as a metal shell (talking tub only).

NZ$ to AU$ you could take about $300 bucks off the price. In which that will cover like ¼ of the shipping costs. So it would still cost about $3000+ for a tub.

Normally www.warlordautosports.com have shots from the series, but the sites down at the moment. The trials guys normally want the the one piece noses and the like rather than the whole tubs.
It's surprising the number of lj50s and 80s that are still getting used.
