I have a set of steel Prado wheels fitted with new Cooper ST's from my old fourby that I'm hoping to be able to use as off-road rims for the GU (when I take delivery of it). I've done some calcs to factor in the height of the std GU 17" rims and tyre profile (275/65x17) with the Prado 16's (245/75x16) - about half an inch, lesser in height I reckon. The DX GU still wears 16" wheels, so I'm figuring this will be legal??<p>
Is anyone of the knowledge of whether the offsets for Prado and the new Patrol will be similar and/or any other issues I'll need to consider.
