Post by gom11k »

Hi, is there anyone who has done a disk brake conversion on a bundera.
IF so what did you use and why.

Cheers Mick

Thanks for the info. With using either 80 series or Prado is it just a simple matter of bolt on to the budera conversion ?

I doubt it.

id say you will definantly have to move the spring perches and highly unlikely that the links will work either.

The 80 series housing will also be wider than a bundera housing, the prado may be similar width to a bundera diff but unlikely to be exactly the same. So you may need to think about wheel spacers on the front, or an IFS wheel hub, to make your wheels line up again if using an 80 series diff.
