Price for a 85 high top

Post by msh »

I'm thinking of selling my 85 high top drover, how much should I ask, it's stock.
Drive train is pretty good, engines only done 110k, body is average, bit of suface rust, patch of rust uder the rear door hinge, safari windows in good nick. Slight dent in drivers door, and bent roof lining from crap home made console. Sholdn't be too hard for someone to fix. I'm after a rough price, any ideas?

Was thinking of doing it up, but want a wt soft top.

I was thinking around 1500, it owes me not much more than that. Thanks for the input.

Speaking of wt soft tops, I missed out on a 92 with no rust and reasonable soft top, with 250,000km (a fair bit, I know) for $2,300, ended up going for 2,500. The interior was quite good. I'm kicking myself now... would it have been a good price - what are your opinions?

-edit-

I think that this was meant to go on another thread - sorry bout that. I had a few windows open at once and posted a reply on the wrong topic.
