Hi all was just told by some one i have only just met that i can use brake fluid in my power steering as he says it is the same thing.
any comments.

that is what he means,
if you put autotrans or power steer fluid in your brake system it would make all the seals swell and you would have to replace pretty much every seal in the system.
If you are really stuck and need something in a the resevoir then water
would be a last restort. It will give you a tiny bit of pedal but would boil quickly and give way to failure but better than nothing
N.B. I have never tried this been told about this secondhand.
