Rim backspace will this work

Post by bulldogy »

Hey guys picked up some 35x10.5x16 ET1 pedes.
I got some rockcrawler rims 16x8 supposed to be with the standard landcruza backspace of 3 3/4" but didnt look at em kus they said on the bos got the pedes fitted and the backsapce is farkin 4.25" .
What i need too know is am i going too have any trouble with them rubbing on the chassis at the rear of full flex and at the front on full flex and steer.
I have a 3" susp lift and 2" bodylift going in next week but dunno anyone who runs the 4.25 backspace the Guy at OL said they be fine no rubbing but i need some help from you guys .
Thanks Dave

thats pretty good..

mate.... MOST tyres will rub whatever your backspacing..

some guys runnin 6 + inches of lift with huge offset tyres and they might rub a bit..

i doubt you'd have issues..

I ran 5 inch lift and 40mm body with 36 TSL's and they rubbed and they were on a cruiser offset rim which had the TSL's sticking out approx 20mm

Ive worked it out they are going to sit where the 31s that are on now sit with the 7"rim and 10.5s.
So with the tyre working it out they will be siting 1/2" closer to the chassis than if they supplied me with the proper backspacing so this shud till be ok?
Thanks Guys

These rims will be no good. I have the 3 and 3/4 inch back spacing with beadlocks which makes the tyre stick out further again and they still rub the chassis on the rear. Take em back and get the ones you asked for ....
