Post by Luv to 4B »

jus want some advice / tips on installing 50mm dropped hangers in the front of my lux. ive got the dropped drag link and adj torque rod already in bu coz of the way my BB bolts on i cant run a dropped cross member...is the best option just buying the ready made brackets from snake or BBM and welding them on or is there more to it. Thanks heaps.

Probably best to modify your bar to accept the dropped crossmember, there is a lot of load on the front hangers, they need to be secured properley.

HELL NO :bad-words:

make a whole new set up there is to much load and weight on them to be a bolt on option, make a new x-member is your only choice here sorry.

I disagree, apart from the fact that they're not a bolt on option, with some bracing there's no reason for them not to work well and last in the long term. I welded spazbot's on for him [with no bracing btw] and they've been on there with no signs of fatigue for ages !! For what you wanna do Wes they'll be perfect !!!
