RIP TJ

Post by TUFFRANGIE »

Some bloke in a ford ute pulled out in front of my girlfriend in her TJ the other day. She got him good wrote both cars off so the beloved car that she only had for 2 months is gone now.
Snapped the leading arm off the front diff and bent the diff like a banana. Airbags went off (the expensive bit $6000 just for parts)

But good news is we have already found a new one for her its yellow

'01 model
Air con
Hard and soft top (and she has a halftop already)
63,500km
Excellent cond
$18500

Bargain i think

Pics of the old and new one:

Took off everything we could but the mags/tires were listed on the policy so couldn't take them. The bloke at the panel beaters was a prick and wouldn't let us take any stuff off it like the sound bar etc. RACV said they could cancel our policy and give her no money because the tires were too wide and stuck out of the guards by about 5mm! Lucky she got her $15500 in the end

Sure...if they could have proved it contributed to the accident....
Apparently people think I'm too patronising (that means I treat them like they’re stupid).
