I am looking at buying a 4.2 Diesel 1995 GQ DX LWB wagon it has 140 litre long range tank bullbar, towbar and done 240,000km and is in immaculate condition inside and out they are asking $10 for it just seeing what you guys rekon it is worth?
GQ LWB TD42, boost, lockers etc

the km is the thing im most worried about becuase i want to keep this car for a while and i know diesels last forever my MK did 450k on the orig motor just having seccond thoughts on buying it so i want some reassurance :)

not knowing its history - or any second hand car is always a lottery.

240,000 IMHO isnt bad... you will find most around that figure.

search for photos of Woops rebuild - 550k klms and you can still see the cross hatching in the bores from new.. but that has had oil and filters every 5000 from new.

yea i know it has excellent service history the car has been owned by the same person since new and they serviced it regularly because it was a work car to tow around there mobile dog wash trailer

yeah doesnt sound too bad if its in mint condition.

once you do a few other things like turbo and that will be a really good truck.

Folks around here have businesses washing your pets namely dogs. They mostly come to you to do it and they lug around these fibre glass trailers that are more of a bath/grooming parlour on wheels for you pooch...

They prolly do quite well for themselves... :?
