not knowing its history - or any second hand car is always a lottery.InSanE wrote:the km is the thing im most worried about becuase i want to keep this car for a while and i know diesels last forever my MK did 450k on the orig motor just having seccond thoughts on buying it so i want some reassurance
240,000 IMHO isnt bad... you will find most around that figure.
search for photos of Woops rebuild - 550k klms and you can still see the cross hatching in the bores from new.. but that has had oil and filters every 5000 from new.
GQ
Just buy it and hurry if you don't someone who doesn't piss around will grab a bargain.

Remember some days your the pigeon and other days your the statue
so you know its history, why the fuck isnt it in your driveway?InSanE wrote:yea i know it has excellent service history the car has been owned by the same person since new and they serviced it regularly because it was a work car to tow around there mobile dog wash trailer

yeah doesnt sound too bad if its in mint condition.

Folks around here have businesses washing your pets namely dogs. They mostly come to you to do it and they lug around these fibre glass trailers that are more of a bath/grooming parlour on wheels for you pooch...
They prolly do quite well for themselves...
