TB42 Fuel Consumption

Post by BigMav »

My mate has an 89 model patrol LWB and is concerned about the fuel consumption. I'm not sure on what the petrols normally get so can anyone give me some figures of what it should be getting. Its the earlier carby model. Cheers.

Hmm i wish i got that fuel consumption :(

88 GQ LWB. 4" springs 2" BL. 33" muddies. TB42 carby.

95Litres normally gets me around 350 kays. (No 4wdriving)

In saying that, that was before rebuilding my carby which i have just done. It was running pretty rich and clogged up quite a bit. Will wait and see how the next few tanks go.
