Just noticed one of my rad hoses (TD42 Maverick) has the early signs of a crack/split happening so I'd better replace it before it lands me in the shit!
are they available non genuine or do I have to go to nissan to have my pants pulled down?
also anyone know how much they are?
The hardest thing about owning a jeep is telling your parents you're g a y!!
I had to replace a radiator hose on my old fourby and got quoted rediculouse amounts so went down to supercheap and looked for a close match amongst there stock $7.

some people put the steel coil out of a falcon rad hose into the lower, to stop it sucking in.. which apparently has been an issue causing overheating.

Damn right.I asked for a quote on both hoses today and it was around $130.
Sorry to dredge up oldies, but I just rang Nissan to get some "trail spare" radiator hoses and I must say, I don't know where you guys got this price because even the dude on the phone just about fell over when he read them out to me.
GU 4.2TD
Top - $53.41
Bottom - $137.30
