How do you reco 80 series brake calipers front and rear? Can new ones be bought as easy as rotors? I have never seen any forsale.

you can get complete calipers from toyota but they are not exactly cheap. second had ones are plentiful at wreckers.

they are prety easy to rebuild and overhaul kits are cheap, probably the hardest part of rebuilding the fornt calipers is getting all 4 pistons to pop out - compressed air and a block of wood the right thickness helps all 4 pistons to fully extend before one pops out, making the other three hard to move. it's basically diassemble, clean (brake cleaner, hot soapy water), reassemble with new seals and rubber grease. the rear calipers are very easy, they almost fall apart in your hands.

The other thing to mention Brian, is if you get a pair of callipers and discs and backing plates off a later than 8/92 front diff, they are bigger abd bolt straight onto the earlier smaller brakes diff.
You can still run 15 inch wheels with them and nothing else needs to be changed.
So if you need a rebuild, and you can find a wrecker willing to sell you these bits, go for it.

That was going to be my next question about the later model brakes. So its only the rears that wont accept a 15inch wheel?

yes
got this setup on my 94 and i can run 15's without rubbing...however, a small amount of grinder to the later setup and you can fit 15's too.

Bigger discs on the front with the 100 series pads in the calliper will give you 100% better feeling brakes

Just had my front callipers rebuilt after needing to pull them apart myself. as said above its real fun getting them out if you like break fluid in your eyes....... took me 3 hrs for 1 side but 3 pistons were seized. ended up taking the whole truck to a break specialist. $750 included full rebuild on front callipers, machine discs and fit 100s pads. breaks are now excellent. could be done cheaper if u take just the callipers to them, about $200 each.

new callipers cost $650 odd each side (even if i did pay that it still wouldnt stop anything like it does now if you dont put in the 100s pads.
